A large Australian Blue Ensign National Flag measuring 8ft 6in x 4ft 3in or approximately 260cm x 130cm and weighing 750g.  From the mid 20th century, most likely the 1930s or 40s.  

In excellent, well-used, vintage condition. 

Vibrant colours, no fraying or damage.  Panel sewn Linen, the stars are hand cut and individually sewn to the body of the flag.

Canvas hoist hem with original hessian rope and wooden toggle all in very good order.  Has been on display for years and might benefit from a clean - if you wished to.  See photos.
