Description

We are pleased to be able to offer over the coming months a substantial collection of paintings, drawing and prints by the artist Alice Mary Fitzpayne born 1928. Fitzpayne's career and place in Modern British Art is beginning to cement itself in the records of art history. Having trained at the Royal College of art under the guidance of Francis Bacon and Ruskin Spear, her development went from strength to strength and her work is in many private and public collections including the British Museum.

This is a stunning early work and is executed in oils on board and measures 16x12 inches and comes framed and ready to hang. The work is signed and in good condition and it will grace any Modern collection. This work is an early piece and you can see the influence of Ruskin Spear in this work..
