Set/6 Anthropologie Monochrome Mosaic Dinner Plates White Scalloped Embossed

Striking set of 6 Anthropologie Monochrome Mosaic dinner plates featuring a sculptural all-white design with deeply embossed geometric detailing and softly scalloped edges.  These oversized 11.5-inch dinner plates have a wide raised border composed of repeating curved motifs, creating a beautiful dimensional effect while keeping the overall look clean and monochromatic. The glossy white-to-soft-ivory glaze makes them especially versatile for modern, cottage, farmhouse, eclectic, or holiday table settings.

The Monochrome Mosaic collection was sold by Anthropologie around 2010–2011, and an especially interesting feature is the molded marking on the underside of each plate - "1819 WRITER” with an embossed profile silhouette.  Research into the collection indicates that this is not the manufacturer or production year. Other pieces from Anthropologie’s Monochrome Mosaic line are known with similar literary-themed markings, including “1902 POET.” These appear to have been decorative or thematic identifiers incorporated into different pieces in the collection rather than separate pottery brands.

The substantial size, unusual relief border, scalloped silhouette, and literary-themed underside make these much more distinctive than a standard white dinner plate.
