AK-C8200F-UV-BW/UK is a full-size (105-key) wired medical/hygiene keyboard with an integrated smart card reader. It is made by Active Key and is designed for clinical environments such as hospitals, GP practices, dental clinics and laboratories.

Description

It is a wipeable, sealed hygiene keyboard built for shared workstations where infection control and secure login are essential. The key field is covered by a silicone membrane that protects against dirt, fluids and common hospital disinfectants (suitable for VAH/DGHM guidelines). An integrated smart-card reader (Gemalto CR20 chipset) allows secure authentication, access control, digital signatures and similar applications. It uses a UK QWERTY layout, USB connection and scissor-switch (rubber-dome) keys for comfortable typing.
