This detailed O gauge locomotive features the classic Western Maryland railroad name, road number 8501, charcoal gray body, cream-colored hood, and realistic diesel switcher styling.

From the locomotive cab to the metal handrails, exhaust stacks, detailed trucks, and decorative gold-tone bell, this Lionel model has plenty of features for train enthusiasts to appreciate.

The locomotive comes with its original orange Lionel Electric Trains box, molded Styrofoam packaging, protective plastic, and paperwork shown in the photographs.

This vintage Lionel Western Maryland NW-2 Diesel Switcher is pre-owned and includes the original Lionel box, molded Styrofoam packaging, protective plastic, and paperwork shown.

The locomotive appears relatively clean overall, with attractive gray and cream coloring, good visible lettering, and detailed exterior components. Minor marks and signs of age or storage may be present.

The orange Lionel box shows signs of age and storage, including surface scuffs, edge wear, and handling marks. The packaging insert and protective wrapping are included as pictured.

IMPORTANT: LOCOMOTIVE IS UNTESTED

This locomotive has not been operated on a powered track. Motor operation, forward and reverse functions, lighting, bell, and other electrical features have not been verified. Operational condition is unknown. No guarantee of working operation is made.
