This listing is for a lovely 19th Century framed miniature watercolour portrait painting of a young woman wearing Elizabethan clothing. The portrait has delicate, precise hand painted features wearing jewels in her hair, and a luxurious ruffle around her neck. The oval portrait is held in place behind slightly convex glass, with a brass/bronze bezel, and is mounted in a mother of pearl hand-cut 'piano key' frame, with an attachment at top for hanging. 

  The frame measures 123mm x 111mm, and the painting measures 65mm x 55mm.  . 

The painting, and frame, are in excellent antique condition with no noted flaws. The silk backing fabric has some cosmetic imperfections.
