A very nice, very lightly run, tested good, MTH 30-4141-0E Christmas Express #1225 Die-Cast 4-6-0 Ten Wheeler with Loco-Sounds for O gauge 3-Rail.  Made in 2005 as part of the 30-4141-0 Christmas Express passenger set.  Works great with Lionel, Williams, K-Line and all other 3 rail O/027 gauge trains.  

This sharp looking Christmas Ten Wheeler 4-6-0 Steam Engine features a die-cast shell & metal frame, metal railings, large "maintenance free" can motor with fly wheel, conventional Transformer (Fwd-Neutral-Rev) control, engine speed "cruise" control, 6 wheel drive with 2 traction tires, illuminated constant voltage headlight, synchronized puffing fan-driven smoke unit, cab red firebox glow, Loco-Sounds to include engine chuff, whistle & bell and great Christmas colors.

The Christmas Express tender features detailed plastic shell with wood load, all metal frame & trucks, magnetic operating coupler on rear of tender and front tether to connect with engine.  

This engine can operate on any 3-rail O/027 gauge track system but O-31 or larger curves are recommended.  

***Note:  Transformer (or separate) Whistle/Horn and Bell controls are required to activate the Whistle and Bell sounds.   No controls are required for the engine chuff sounds.***

I lubed the rollers & gears, added some smoke fluid and then briefly tested this engine on my layout and the motor, light, control functions, smoke unit and sounds all worked great!  

This engine comes with the original box, foam inserts, spare tires & copy of the  MTH engine instructions and I will wrap & pack with care prior to shipment.
