Black grained leather exterior with tan leather/suede-effect interior and gold lettering, plus zipped currency compartment and press-stud fastening.

General age related wear externally with the odd scuff and a scrape to the tip of the fastener. There is substantial historic pen/ink scribbling and marking to the tan interior of the main flap, clearly photographed.
