Vintage American Legion US Navy Lapel Hat Pin Eagle Ship Enamel Made in USA

Condition: Pre-owned / Vintage Good Condition. Pin shows a aged patina with minor surface wear and light scratching consistent with age. The text on both the front and back remains sharp and clearly legible. The enamel accents are intact without major chips, and the rear attachment post is sturdy and straight. Shipped with care. Description: Collectible features a detailed, textured silver-tone center crest depicting a bald eagle positioned in front of a traditional sailing vessel and anchor. The outer structure showcases gold-tone/amber enameled eagle wings with "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" across the top and a vibrant blue enameled banner across the bottom reading "NAVY".

The reverse side is stamped with the official American Legion emblem and reads "MADE IN USA". It includes the standard single-post backing and a black rubber pin clutch. Pin is vintage likely dating from the late 20th century (1970s to 1990s). The use of a rubber military clutch back (instead of a traditional metal butterfly clutch or screw-back) also points toward more modern vintage manufacturing eras.
