Maxie is a 1980's vintage, collectible doll by Hasbro.  She has had a spa day and had her hair cleaned and conditioned.  This Maxie doll has grow hair (a longer, lighter blonde piece in the back). There is no 'key', but you can use anything flat like a screwdriver, tip of a bread knife, etc. to rotate the knob to let the hair out or reel it back in to the hole at the top of her head (view pics for details). Due to her grow hair mechanism, her head tilts back, but not forward. 

She is wearing a new, handmade, custom dress which features a sweetheart neckline and cap sleeves.  It does up in the back with a snap.  Over her shoulders she has a long, crocheted boa made with a plush turquoise yarn.  Also included is a matching jewelry set which includes earrings and a necklace made on bendable wire for easy off/on fit. 

Maxie is approx. 11 1/2 inches tall.  She has PTR arms and both legs bend and click.  She does not come with shoes, so I have made the gown long enough to cover her feet.
