This listing is for an original antique cyanotype / blueprint subdivision map titled:

LAKEVIEW TERRACE

Owned by:
The New England Development & Improvement Co.
Boston, Mass.

The map is dated July 1898 and is drawn at a scale of 100 feet to one inch.

The plan shows a proposed residential subdivision along Pontoosuc Lake in the Pittsfield, Massachusetts area, with individually numbered lots, streets, property boundaries, waterfront geography, and surrounding landowners.

Visible street and location references include Broadway, Farnham Street, Osceola Avenue, Highland Avenue, Pittsfield & Lanesboro Road, and Pontoosuc Lake.

The map also includes a property notation for L. H. Green with a reference to a transfer book page.

This is an interesting piece of late-19th-century Massachusetts real estate, land development, surveying, and local history.

Condition shows significant wear including discoloration, staining, fading, folds, creases, bends, bumps, tears, rips, pin holes, edge wear, missing pieces, small holes, surface marks, and other general signs of age and handling. There is a large tear and area of material loss through the upper portion of the map, along with additional losses and damage along the edges.

The map measures approximately 23.75" x 18".
