Here is my trusty 2007 Mini Cooper which failed its MOT in March 2026 due to emissions and, given its age, I did not think it was viable to start stripping the engine to diagnose and fix. The car was written off by an insurance company around 5 years ago after a 20mph front end shunt by my son, in which around £1100 of damage was caused, but the car has continued for several years since then, passing its MOT each year and being used regularly. The body lacquer is peeling (much like several red Minis I have seen of this age!). It looks awful but could be sorted out by someone with more time than myself and some judicious body work. A shopping trolley hit the left side a couple of years ago and left a dent in the panel, and someone drove into the rear 2 years ago, cracking the bumper. Inside, the car is in good condition and everything works, I believe. I have tried to show the condition in the pictures but essentially this ad is for a car that would suit an enthusiast looking for a refurb project involving some body work and an engine fix. The engine is a secondhand replacement, fitted about 7 years ago (can't remember what the issue was with the original), and as I say, it has recently failed its MOT on emissions but runs perfectly well. By all means drop me a message if you have any questions. Priced to sell 4 reasonable condition alloy wheels and two front seats, along with a free car attached to them.
