OVERVIEW

Zojirushi BS-ED10-WA automatic mochi maker. Steams the

rice and pounds it in one machine, unattended. New,

made in Japan.

RUNS ON AC100V ONLY

600W heater. This is a Japanese domestic appliance and

will NOT run on 120V or 230V mains. You need a step-down

transformer rated at 1000W or more - a small travel

converter will not carry it.

FOUR MACHINES IN ONE

Steam, pound, knead, mash. Beyond mochi it steams

sekihan, kneads bread, pizza and udon dough, and with

the supplied miso paddle it mashes 500g of boiled

soybeans in about five minutes for home-made miso.

Soak the rice, put it in the tub, press the key. The

machine steams it, pounds it, and sounds a buzzer when

the mochi is ready. The tub has handles, so the mochi

comes out without a fight.
