Vintage Japanese Kisekae paper doll dress-up set from the Showa Era, estimated to date from 1955–1965. Includes the original Yoiko Kaban (Good Child's Bag) storage folder by Nadeshiko Sha (なでしこ社), along with an assortment of paper dolls, clothing pieces, accessories, illustrated cards, and coloring sheets.
The colorful illustrations depict traditional Japanese kimonos, Western-style dresses, and children's fashions. A collectible example of mid-century Japanese paper toys and ephemera, sometimes associated with traditional Japanese dagashiya shops. Great for vintage paper doll collections, Japanese Showa Era memorabilia, junk journals, scrapbooking, collage art, and mixed media projects.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-related wear. Original folder has edge wear, corner wear, surface scuffs, creasing, discoloration, and remnants of an old price sticker. Interior shows age toning and light staining. Paper dolls, clothing pieces, and illustrated cards show typical wear from handling including bends, creases, edge wear, and a few small tears. Includes the original folder with numerous paper dolls, clothing pieces, accessories, and illustrated cards. Completeness is unknown. Please review all photos for condition.
