Vintage WWII Celluloid Articulated "Buddy" Soldier Brooch / Pin

Up for auction/sale is a highly collectible, authentic World War II-era "sweetheart" buddy brooch. These iconic novelty pins were worn on the home front to show patriotic support for troops serving abroad.

• Design: Features a hand-painted army soldier complete with a uniform coat, trousers, and a garrison cap.

• Movement: Fully articulated (jointed) arms and legs attached securely via original metal jump rings, allowing them to swing freely.

• Material: Early celluloid plastic with black and pink painted accents.

• Size: Measures approximately 2.5 inches tall by 1 inch wide.

• Hardware: Features a classic period pin mechanism embedded directly into the back of the plastic torso.
