This is raw, unterminated installation cable, supplied without RJ45 connectors or fitted plugs at either end. The buyer or installer must terminate it using suitable components. It is not a ready-made Ethernet patch lead.

Excel 100-090 uses solid bare copper conductors, rather than copper-clad aluminium. Each core has PE insulation, with the eight conductors arranged as four twisted pairs.

Use termination components suitable for solid-conductor Cat5e installation cable. Connectors and accessories are not supplied.

Does this Cat5e cable come with RJ45 connectors?
No. This is raw, unterminated bulk network cable. RJ45 connectors are not included and neither end is fitted with a plug.
Is this solid copper or CCA?
The Excel 100-090 specification uses solid bare copper conductors. It is not copper-clad aluminium cable.
Is this cable suitable for external use?
It is specified as PE external-grade cable, with UV exposure tested to ASTM G154 & G155. The installer should confirm the routing, protection and installation requirements for the intended location.
Do I receive the full box if I order 10m or 50m?
No. Shorter options are supplied as the cut length you select. Only the 305m option is supplied as the original full 305m Excel pull box.
