Signed Mats Jonasson blue face mask sculpture from Sweden, numbered 36/99.

This freestanding crystal glass sculpture features an abstract face with blue and turquoise decoration, dark eye details, frosted relief and flowing linear patterns. Polished clear areas contrast with the textured decoration, creating different visual effects as the viewing angle and lighting change.

The underside is engraved “Mats Jonasson Sweden 36/99,” identifying this example as number 36 in an edition of 99. A paper label marked “260405” remains attached to the base; the significance of that label number is unknown.
