Product Description
Empire of the Sun 4th Printing is a highly regarded strategic board game from GMT Games that recreates the conflict between Japan and the Allied powers across the entire Pacific Theater during World War II. Designed by Mark Herman, the game combines the depth of a traditional hex-based wargame with the excitement and uncertainty of a card-driven system, offering players a rich and immersive historical experience.
Players take command of major wartime leaders and direct military operations across a vast map stretching from India to Hawaii and from Alaska to Australia. Every decision matters, from planning naval offensives to managing air and ground forces, creating a challenging and rewarding strategic experience.
The 5th Printing enhances the game with an updated rulebook, the included Burma Scenario map, and corrected errata, making it one of the most complete versions available. Its high-quality components, detailed historical setting, and extensive replay value make it an excellent choice for experienced wargamers, military history enthusiasts, and collectors seeking a premium World War II strategy game.
