Why this is not sold as new

The box has been opened. One side of the outer box has a torn corner where the cardboard surface has been ripped away and partially detached. The top flap shows signs of previous opening. The unit itself appears unused, retains its original swing tag, and the stainless steel body, lid, and handle trim show no visible marks or damage. The user manual is present. The photos show the unit, its user manual, and the inner protective packaging.

Anything not listed here and not visible in the photos is not something I have found.
