The Robomation Turtle Coding Robot is a compact programmable robotic platform designed for hands-on coding, movement control, drawing activities, and interactive programming projects. The Turtle connects wirelessly to compatible smart devices and can connect to a computer using the optional USB dongle.
With support for programming environments including Scratch and Entry, the Turtle provides an accessible way to explore robot control, sequencing, movement commands, path-following activities, and Turtle Graphics. The robot uses two stepping motors for controlled movement and includes an RGB head LED for status and visual feedback.
The Turtle features a compact 95 x 76 x 50 mm design and weighs approximately 100 g. Its rechargeable 3.7 V 470 mA Li-poly battery provides approximately 1 hour of continuous operation, with a typical charging time of about 30 minutes.
For PC use, the optional USB dongle pairs with the Turtle and can maintain a wireless connection within approximately 15 m after pairing, according to Robomation's current connection instructions.
