Here we have a beautiful example of an early Linn LP12 Export Sondek. These would have been made for export as suggested but it has at some point been fitted with a UK power supply and motor for UK 230V. Serviced fully by us and running smoothly at 33.33rpm measured. 

This turntable comes without tonearm so is ready for your tonearm to be fitted. A very basic one would have been fitted originally so the armboard is lacking the six drill holes required for usual Linn tonearms so the armboard will either need swapping out or these drill holes introduced and drilled manually. The geometry is all Linn at 211mm distance from armboard hole centre to spindle so this can be fitted with a whole host of arms including Ittok, Akito, LV etc or even swipe a nice Jelco off an old Revolver turntable!

We have serviced and oiled the turntable and it is turning wonderfully. As you can see from the underside picture, it is the very early power supply but it starts up very nicely, it does take a few seconds from start up to reach the speed but is then beautifully stable at 33 1/3rpm. 

Condition notes:

- No tonearm

- No lid

- Some marks here and there to testify age but nothing of any note

- Beautiful figuring in places to the plinth

- All metal surfaces and pulley wheel in very clean condition and have been further cleaned by us with isopropyl alcohol to be clear of belt debris/build up 

- Fitted with genuine Linn Belt

- Bearing in beautiful clean condition

- Ground wire intact

- A lovely clean example ready for your Tonearm upgrade!

The bearing has been re-oiled by us professionally. If picking up locally from us in Haverfordwest this will be left intact but if purchasing from further afield and this is to be shipped, this will be removed prior to despatch to avoid a gloopy mess during transit. As a result, please factor in the need to purchase some Linn bearing oil.
