This is a rare 2x Dvd set of "Legend" The Ultimate Edition.

Of all the Ultimate Editions ever released, I personally think this one of the film "Legend" surpasses all expectations.


The stunning presentation of the discs is the first thing that shows so much thought has gone into this release.


The tri-fold packaging has a clear frontage with art printed on it complimenting the artwork behind it of Tim Curry's character 'The Lord Of Darkness'. This folds out to reveal the two Dvd Discs which contain the never before seen Director's Cut and the U.S. Theatrical Version.


Each disc has bonus features.


Booklet included has a write up by Ridley Scott and shows all the bonus features.

Both cuts of the film: The director's cut and the theatrical release are both included 

Commentary: Ridley Scott provides commentary on the director's cut 

Lost scenes: Both lost scenes are included 

Documentary: An excellent documentary is included

Trailers: Both the US and international theatrical trailers are included 

TV spots: Four TV spots are included 

Photo galleries: Three photo galleries are included 

Music video: The Brain Ferry "Is Your Love Strong Enough" music video is included 

DVD ROM script-to-screen: A DVD ROM script-to-screen is included 


On Disc Two, we find a horde of great extras in addition to the film's US Theatrical Cut that also includes an isolated Tangerine Dream score, so you can listen to the superb soundtrack with no film dialogue or sounds.


"Creating a Myth: The Making of Legend" is an newly produced featurette that runs for nearly an hour and features interviews with nearly everyone involved with the movie with the exception of Tom Cruise. The featurette covers everything related to the production and includes some very, very, rare behind the scenes footage and photos sprinkled throughout the special. It's excellent.


"Lost Scenes" includes two: an alternate opening that was actually completed as well as the lost Fairy Dance sequence. The latter is shown via the original audio track, still photos, and storyboards. It was one sequence that fans of the movie always heard about it, and although the video doesn't exist, at least it's on the disc in some form.


The Storyboards section contains artwork for three sequences: "Lily and the Unicorns", "Jack's Challenge", and "Downfall of Darkness". You then get both the US and International Theatrical trailers shown full screen, four TV spots, three photo galleries (Publicity Photographs, Images of Legend, and Continuity Polaroids), the Brain Ferry "Is Your Love Strong Enough" music video, and a DVD ROM script-to-screen.


As the packaging claims, this really is the "Ultimate" edition of Legend. Both cuts of the film, both lost scenes, commentary, and an excellent documentary. Highly recommended.


The Dvd's both play perfectly and are in Very Good condition.


Booklet is Very Good.


Packaging is in Very Good Condition considering it is such intricate packaging. It has very light general storage wear to the covers which is common with this release due to the art being printed into the plastic cover.


This is a USA Region 1 Dvd. Please ensure your player is fully compatible to play Region 1 Discs.

In all cases, please contact us, (Pillar Box Gifts), via eBay messages, before returning items.
We are happy to cover return postage costs for Faulty, Incorrect or Incorrectly Described Items, as long as they are reported via eBay messages to Pillar Box Gifts within 30 days after the item has been delivered. 
We reserve the right to not refund in full if the item is returned damaged, used and/or not in the original packaging.  

To return your item, you must return it to us in the same condition as you received it, unopened and in the original packaging. You are responsible for returning the item.

RETURNS DUE TO CHANGE OF MIND
If you change your mind about an item after ordering, we are happy to accept returns on this basis after messaging us via eBay messages. You are responsible for the cost of return postage and for returning the item in the same condition it was sent in.

We always take care with the packing of our products, we send them out with care. But there are occasions that while on route to our customers the item may receive damage for reasons that are not a fault of ours. If you have received an item that is damaged in any way, then please can you follow the following instructions so that we can process your order.

*Take clear photos of outside, inside and contents of the box/packaging.
*Take clear photos of the damaged item.
*Send the images to Pillar Box Gifts via eBay messages.

Discounts, Best Offers, or Markdowns Tips:- 

Discounts (%) deducted at checkout are not valid if Best Offer is used.
If you benefit more from the discount amount, just Buy It Now instead of making an offer and the Discount will be deducted at checkout.

As of 01/01/21, the UK left the European Union and so therefore international buyers will be responsible for any sales tax that will be applicable in their country.
This tax may be payable before your country's postal/customs system will release your item to you. 
We, Pillar Box Gifts Ltd, are not in any way, responsible for delays, charges, or costs to you the buyer, either for collection of any taxes or your collection of held items.
This is the buyers' responsibility and you should investigate your own country's rules/laws regarding these new regulations.

Please do not ask for us to fill in a lower value than the actual purchase value on any documentation.
