Upgraded to New iPod Classic 5th Generation with Wolfson DAC
- Beautiful transparent teal faceplate - Upgraded 128GB flash storage using fast A2 V30 SDXC card memory (SDXC is low heat, low power, music and album art is faster to load compared to slow to wake and power hungry SSD upgrades. And of course much improved over the factory HDD storage) - Matching 128GB rear stainless back cover - New battery - Refinished original clickwheel (replacements are poor quality) - New very bright LCD installed - New 30 pin to usb cable supplied - 30 day warranty
I’ve been on eBay since 2002, with a 100% rating so you can trust I take care and only sell high-quality items.
Some notes on custom iPods; SSD storage is cheaper and can be quite slow to wake the drive (and very hot due to using double to triple the power) vs SDXC card upgrades as the iPod puts the storage to sleep a few seconds after every user interaction, so it’s constantly waking and sleeping the SSD. Whereas SDXC cards are designed for constant sleep/wake with fast speed to fill the iPods RAM with music and cover art.
