This four piece set from Navajo artist, Orville Manygoats, features a kachina with leaf headdress motif made of sterling silver and turquoise cabochons and includes a statement ring, a brooch that is also a pendant and a pair of earrings. The kachina ring and brooch have a skirt accented with sterling beadwork while the earrings have rope twist detailing on the kachina's skirt. She holds a basket or offering in her sweetly bent arms to convey the spiritual imagery of the role of the corn maiden. This incredible set from the American Southwest exemplifies the craftmanship and artistry of Orville Manygoats and is a must-have for any serious collector of Navajo sterling silver pieces.
