For bid is an original 1909 or 1910 San Francisco, California real photo postcard of a large parade float of young women in white dresses, members of the local Native Daughters of the Golden West Gabriella Parlor number 139. Parade photo taken on a sunny day!

This may be from the 1909 Portola Festival, but more likely the “Admission Day” parade celebrating California becoming a state in 1850 (60th anniversary). Card is not identified. But Gabrielle No. 139 is on the fabric of the parade float. At least two dozen young ladies in white dresses on display.

Card was mailed from San Francisco to San Jose on October 3, 1910. No other identification.

Postcard is in very good, used condition.
