Dating from the late Georgian period circa 1830, this sea captains artificial horizon is constructed from brass, glass and wood and made by George Stebbings Senior of Portsmouth, a highly regarded maker. The piece is in sturdy vintage condition and housed in its original case.
The case measures 22 cm (8 3/4 in) wide by 12 cm (4 3/4 in) tall and 12 cm (4 3/4 in) deep. Please contact us with any questions before bidding or buying.
