Markings: The crossguard is clearly stamped with "SHEFFIELD ENGLAND". This is a standard commercial/military export mark used by several makers in the Sheffield region (such as William Rodgers or J. Nowill & Sons).
Finish: The blade and hilt feature a consistent blackened (chemically blued) finish, designed for stealth by eliminating metallic reflections during night raids.
Hilt: Standard 3rd Pattern cast zinc alloy grip with 27 concentric rings. The pommel is finished with a clean slotted nut.
Blade: Double-edged, spear-point carbon steel blade. It is in very good condition with minimal signs of sharpening or pitting, retaining most of its original dark finish.
Dimensions: Total length is approximately 29 cm (11.4 inches).
