Beautiful matching set of 9 antique Victoria Czecho-Slovakia porcelain salad plates in the discontinued Pattern 240 / VIT240.
The pattern features delicate pink rose swags and trailing green foliage arranged around a distinctive dark geometric ring accented with small gold diamond details. A fine gold-trimmed outer rim completes the elegant design.
Replacements identifies Victoria Pattern 240 as “Rose Swags on Black Ring.” The combination of romantic floral decoration with the structured geometric band gives these plates an attractive Art Deco transitional / early 20th-century European appearance.
Each plate bears the green VICTORIA / Czecho-Slovakia crown backstamp associated with the Victoria porcelain factory at Altrohlau, Czechoslovakia, now Stará Role in the Czech Republic. This mark is associated with the interwar period, approximately 1918–1939.
Several plates also carry a separate stamped “240” number. This is an original factory-applied secondary marking. Interestingly, it corresponds with the 240 pattern identification used by Replacements, although the precise purpose of Victoria’s secondary factory numbering system is not completely documented.
This is an especially desirable group because you are getting nine matching antique salad plates together, making them useful for completing an existing Victoria 240 service or creating a coordinated vintage table setting.

Condition -
Excellent antique condition for pieces approaching a century old. The porcelain remains bright, clean and glossy, and the pink floral decoration and dark geometric borders remain crisp and attractive.
There is light surface/utensil wear consistent with normal use and age, along with varying amounts of wear to the fine gold rim, which is particularly visible when the plates are stacked. No chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing.
