Job lot of wooden spindles, used for spinning wool.

Includes:

- five spikes, approximately 23cm, few very small chips. One has what looks like staining from price sticker residue to body

- spike with hook on end (hook is bent but could be straightened), approx. 27cm

- four spindles of varying lengths (about 24-30cm). These all appear handmade (my late father-in-law was a woodwork teacher) and have chips, flaws & splintering but are intact and are well-made. Please note the home-made nature of these.

- spindle with weight, approx. 30cm with rounded end and flying saucer-shaped weight, professionally-finjshed

- spike with weight but without fluting to top, with hook on end, approx. 23cm, not home-made, has few dents & flaws but finished well. Has flat base to spike.

- unused large spindle with weight. Still had price sticker on. 'CT' written on base, presumably the craftsperson  who made it. Approx. 38cm, wood-turned and professionally finished.
