This little family of Grecon dolls has been together for some 65 years.  The padding around the wire frame which forms each figure is held in place by pink cord wrapped tightly around the limbs and torso: the pink cord has shifted on one of the arms of the mother figure (green and white skirt) and both arms of the the girl with the blue skirt, to reveal the padding beneath.   Granny's legs also shows the same cord shift - presumably where the limbs were repeatedly bent to change the posture of the figure.

They all have lead feet which may well have originally enabled the dolls to stand independently, but which is now something of a challenge.

Mother and blue-skirted daughter have had their blouses replaced at some point.

Granny is curiously old-fashioned, with her long grey dress trimmed with black and grey lace and her round wire spectacles; her attire is all original, as is that of the sleeping pyjama-clad girl and the baby of the family.
