THE HISTORICAL VALUE (March 2008 Pre-Release Tag) Look closely at the inner size tag photo. This pair features the early manufacturing dates of 03/12/08 to 05/31/08. This proves it belongs to the highly limited, early pre-release batch produced months before the general public release in July 2008.

THE 1-of-1 CUSTOM RESTORATIONTo save this vintage pair from a landfill, they were given a creative second life:•

Structure & Repairs: The original underlying leather suffered from vintage dry rot. Deep creases and minor surface holes were structurally filled and stabilized using premium, flexible Angelus Leather Filler.•

Paint Work: Completely reimagined into a custom colorway using industry-standard Angelus Acrylic Leather Paint.•

Hardware: Swapped for fresh new laces to match the updated color scheme.

Because the underlying 2008 materials suffered from original dry rot, the repaired toe box and panels are structurally fragile. These are heavily customized, sold completely AS-IS, and are NOT recommended for heavy everyday wear. If worn normally, the repaired areas will likely crack or crumble.
