This is a very rare Tudor 39mm wide Submariner diver's watch in stainless steel, reference number 7928. Based on the serial number (568892) it was manufactured in 1966.

Produced from 1959 until roughly 1968, the Ref. 7928 was a milestone release—introducing crown guards to the Tudor dive watch lineup for the very first time. Due to its extreme durability, the 7928 was officially adopted by global forces, including the U.S. Navy SEALs and Underwater Demolition Teams (UDT) during the Vietnam War.

It did not come with original Tudor box or papers, but is 100% guaranteed accurate and authentic as described.

It is as follows:

CASE: 39mm wide (not including the crown) stainless steel case, with: signed Rolex crown; rotational bezel with black diver's insert featuring "long 5" (which makes the bezel alone a $2000 item per my collector friends); plastic crystal, and solid caseback as shown with plastic from last service.  

BRACELET/STRAP: non-Tudor brown distressed leather diver's strap. Full-sized it will fit most easily. 

DIAL: Tudor "Rose" GILT dial with: round markers (have been relumed at some point but look great); stainless steel hour, minute, sweep-second hands.

MOVEMENT: Tudor/Rolex calibre 390 automatic movement. As stated above, it is running well, working as designed having recently been serviced. It features: hours; minutes; seconds. It is running great, working as designed as shown on Rolex shop timer.
