This is a unique, mid century, brutalist style wire art sculpture. It features a fisherman with his fishing pole, basket, and dog. It was likely produced between the 1960s to 1970s and is signed by the artist, Luis Santiago Valentino on a paper attached to the wood block. I have tried to find more information on this person, but was not able to find anything.
The measurements of this sculpture are: 14 inches tall. The wood block is 1.5 inches tall, 5.25 inches long and 3.5 inches wide.
For condition, please view photos. There are no major issues aside from light wear to the wood block. The block is heavy and sturdy and holds up well.
This is a fun sculpture, unique and perfect for a home or office space. It is a neat example of the Brutalist style popular during the 1960s and 70s and perfect to give as a gift to a fisherman or collect for oneself. Shipped with USPS Ground Advantage. Thanks for eBaying with me.
