Vintage AMAL motorcycle carburettor, cast “AMAL – Birmingham – England”.

Original period carburettor used across a wide range of early motorcycles. While AMAL is most commonly associated with British motorcycles, these carburettors were also used, adapted, or fitted to various custom, racing, and period machines worldwide depending on application and era.

Offered in original, unrestored condition with age-related wear, patina, and corrosion consistent with long-term storage. Internal condition is unknown and the unit is untested. Suitable for restoration, rebuild, or parts.

I am not an expert and have researched this item as part of my Grandfather’s deceased estate collection.
