This piece is a great example of a British military cadet smock. Likely dating from the 1970s, but I believe that these were manufactured between the 1960s and 1980s.
The makers and size labels have been removed at some point but it is likely a size Large (see measurements below and in pictures). Often these smocks were manufactured by the outerwear brands Blacks or The North Face for the military. It is made from ventile cotton. A nice rare piece that’s becoming harder to find.
The condition is pretty good considering the age of the smock. The outer fabric has a few small marks that I have tried to show in the photos, but overall the fabric is clean, and the colour is still great. The smock has no holes or rips. All the original buttons, zipper and toggles are present and in perfect working order.
Measurements are: Pit to pit 26 - . Pit to cuff- 21. Length 34.
Thanks for looking and please feel free to message me with any questions. Cheers!
