WHY THIS ONE

Fanatec discontinued the McLaren GT3 V2 in July 2025 and replaced it with the unbranded CSL Steering Wheel GT3. The replacement is essentially the same wheel - same 300 mm rim, same layout, same magnetic paddles - but without the McLaren licence, which is gone for good. If you want the McLaren badge, an unopened one is now the only way to get it new.

Worth knowing: Fanatec lifted the torque limit on this wheel with driver 467, so it's cleared for use up to 25 Nm. It's not restricted to entry-level bases - it will happily sit on a ClubSport DD, Podium DD1/DD2 or the new Podium DD.

Complete retail product as Fanatec sold it: the wheel, racing-style button caps, the McLaren sticker set and the quick guide. Sealed, exactly as it left the factory.

I run the identical setup myself, so if you want to know how it mounts, how the paddles feel or what it's like on a high-torque base, ask me anything - I just won't be opening this one.

CONDITION

New, factory sealed, never opened, never used. Out of warranty. Because it's sealed I can't demonstrate it working - that's the trade for buying it unopened.
