Antique ornate metal lamp shade gallery, crown or fixture assembly, likely originally used as part of a hanging oil, kerosene or early ceiling lamp.

Features elaborate embossed and pierced decoration, an ornate domed top, decorative handle and multiple mounting or attachment pieces along the underside.

The main body measures approximately 7.5" x 7.75" x 5.875". Measurements do not include the lower attachment pieces.

The metal is non-magnetic and appears to be brass, copper or a similar non-ferrous metal or alloy.

Shows heavy bends and dents, scratches, discoloration, tarnishing, oxidation and patina, dirtiness, missing and worn finish, and other signs of age and previous use. One of the lower attachment/mounting pieces is missing. Additional openwork and decorative areas are bent or misshapen.

Appears incomplete and is being sold as an antique lighting restoration or replacement part.

No maker's marks were found.
