Vintage 1940s Hand Painted Burgess & Leigh Burleigh Ware Acorn (6180) Teapot, Milk Jug, Two Bowls Made in England, vintage acorn tableware

Vintage hand painted Burleigh Ware acorn teapot, milk jug and two bowls (pattern 6180) made in the 1940s by Burgess & Leigh in Burslem, in the Staffordshire Potteries. Burgess & Leigh were important manufacturers of domestic and ornamental earthenware for over 150 years.

Each piece is printed “Burleigh Ware”.

In good condition consistent with age and use. Some crazing and hairline crack on the teapot, please see photos.

Hand painted colours remain vibrant.

Teapot diameter 22cm incl. spout and handle. Height 16.5cm.

Milk jug diameter 16cm incl. spout and handle. Height 14cm.

Bowl diameter 23cm. Height 7cm.
