You will not find this every day.  The first circular produced by the United States Department of Agriculture on July 24, 1896.  The eight-page booklets contains acreage, production and the value of crops annually --  1866-1895:
The publication also includes data on wool production for other countries, as well as U.S. imports of the product.  In all a remarkable document, in excellent condition, albeit folded vertically.
