 Pinocchio Unstrung is a 2026 British independent slasher film written and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield. It is the fifth installment in the Twisted Childhood Universe (TCU) and serves as a horror retelling of Carlo Collodi's 1883 novel The Adventures of Pinocchio. The film stars Richard Brake, Robert Englund, Cameron Bell, and Jessica Balmer, with Jude-Evan Lloyd as the voice of the title character. It follows Geppetto's grandson James, who develops a friendship with Pinocchio until his naïve nature results in the puppet going on a crusade to eliminate all things bad.

A dark coming-of-age reimagining of Pinocchio, this unsettling tale follows the iconic puppet's disturbing journey toward becoming a real, live boy...

This 1-disc DVD also features English Subtitles for Hard of Hearing.

1. Shipping time:
If your item is to be sent to/from an International destination your delivery tends to take about 2-4 weeks.

If you have not received your goods at close of business approx. 6-8 weeks after shipping (see date quoted by post office after which we can lodge a complaint in delivery estimate email), please get back to me ASAP so I can chase it up for you.

 NB: DVDs that are sold as Region 2/4 (or 1/4) are dual layered. The packaging often only lists Region 2 (or Region 1) but these DVDs should be playable on all Region 4 DVD players. But may not play on devices such as X-Box, PC's. Mac's and Playstations.
 


 

 

3. Handling time:

  1. Goods in stock are typically shipped within 2 business days after payment is received.

  2. Note that goods sent from different countries may have different holidays than Australia.

  3. Pre-order goods that have not yet been released will be shipped on the date quoted above (assuming payment received).

4. Refunds/Replacements:

  1. All items are shipped with insurance against loss or damage. If you have any problems with the delivery please contact me ASAP so I can arrange a replacement if appropriate or fully refund your payment.

  2. I stand by the quality of the goods shipped. Full refund or replacement goods will be sent up to 30 days from your receipt of goods for faulty products. Faulty products will need to be returned (postage to be reimbursed) - contact me for details when required.

IMPORTANT DVD INFORMATION FOR MY US & CANADIAN CUSTOMERS:

As per the auction these are Europe Region 2 DVDs (US/Canada are Region 1) and you need a multi-regional (multi-zone) DVD player to play them!

BUT don't panic just yet :-)

Many DVD players are easy to unlock.
Let me know the brand and model number of your DVD player so I see if there is a simple unlock code for your player.

Many of my US/Canadian customers chose to play or copy these DVDs on a PC before playing them.

I also see there are many economical Multi Region DVD players on EBay ($35-50).
Just do a search if you wish.

It seems a shame to let go of this great DVD set.
