Up for sale is a Vintage Sunoco Gas Station “Western United States” Road Map! This Sunoco road map was printed by the Sun Oil Company in 1966! It is a large road map measuring about 42” x 18” unfolded (9” x 3⅞” folded). The map is identified as the “1966 Edition” and features great vintage advertising graphics, including the classic slogan “Stop at Sunoco… Go With Confidence” and Sunoco credit cards. The map is divided into Northwestern US on one side and Southwestern US on the other. As shown in the photos, the map is in good condition for its age with some cover wear and light soiling. A long route along I70 and I80 is highlighted on the Northwestern US side as shown. The map is generally clean with no other writing and no creases, rips, or tears. There may be a few small pinholes at the intersections where folded. This vintage Sunoco gas station road map would make a great addition to your collection!
