Truly a rare offering.  This is PORTA, a 2016 OOAK Best Offer model painted by the one and only and super famous, Caroline Boydston.  She is known for her hyper realistic paint jobs that really bring a model to life.  She adds so many details to bring these little guys to life and really make them stand out - perhaps on your collection shelf or the show table?  The model has been signed and dated 2016 by Caroline on the underside of the model.  I am the original owner of this model.  

Caroline painted this model to a gorgeous, brilliant chestnut/sorrel complete with subtle metallic undertones that she is so famous for.   He has tri-color eyes for realism, a pink nose and two rear white stockings.  He has been factory glossed which really show off his colors - that extra eye-catching factor.  According to the Peter Stone Reference Site, Caroline has only painted 13 of the small Chip Arabians.  Knowing how many have been released over the years, this makes this little model a true rarity.  Even if she has painted more Chip Arabians, her work is still extremely coveted and considered hard to acquire and a treasure if you are lucky enough to possess some of her models.  

As with all models, live show quality is a very personal opinion.  As I look over the model I see a very tiny line in the plastic on the right side of the belly and a small line or hair right underneath the tail on the right side.  Both are very tiny but I can still see them.  I do not see any other major flaws on the model.  Please see photos for full description.

Please note that I have two Caroline Boydston OOAK Chips Arabians both in a glossy chestnut.  They are extremely similar.  One has two front stockings and the other one has two rear white stockings.  Just make sure which one you want when you are bidding.
