This program was pre-owned by a collector and is in good condition, see photos.  The cover has yellowing/soiling and wear/tear due to age and storing, see photos.  The front cover is only attached to the strings at the bottom, not the top.  The interior has yellowing and is intact.  String bound.   Unpaged, but I counted 16 pages.  Measures approximately 5.5" x 9.5".    Please use these photos as part of the description for this auction.  Great collectible!

Description

Original official program from the Grande Semaine d’Aviation held at Bordeaux–Mérignac, France, September 11–18, 1910. This important pioneering aviation meet featured 29 competing pilots and was attended by French President Armand Fallières. The program retains its striking color aviation cover, event schedule and list of competitors. Fair antique condition with staining, cover and edge wear, loose binding, and heavily frayed original ribbon.

Value Range: $175–$350 based on rarity, completeness and condition.
