"For the Suppression of the Polish Uprising" is a medal of the Russian Empire that was awarded to participants in the suppression of the 1863-1864 uprising in the Kingdom of Poland, the Northwestern Territory, and Volyn. The medal was established in 1865 and had two versions: light bronze and dark bronze, which were awarded to different groups of people. About 370,000 light bronze and more than 230,000 dark bronze medals were minted. The medal was worn on the chest on a white-orange-black ribbon.
