A broken pendant by fine jewelry artisan Ginny Whitney.
A rectangular piece of kiln fired stone finish cloisonné in red, blue, black, green and yellow geometric shapes separated by fine wire set in a sterling silver box frame with sides possibly electroplated with 24k yellow gold.
Stamped “STERLING” and hand engraved “24K” and artist’s signature “Ginny Whitney” in cursive on the back.
2 1/8”L x 9/16”W x 5/32” thick including the cloisonné piece and 1/8” thick with just the metal.
Weighs 16.45g in total with 7.51g of that being the sterling silver 925 with 24k EP(?) box frame.
This pendant is a broken piece and is unwearable as is.
The top where the bail would be and what holds the inserted enamel bar in place is broken off and missing.
Both corners of the yellow portion have small chips.
This piece will need to be repaired or entered into a display or a collection would be good alternative ideas.
