For bid is an original circa 1930’s San Diego, California harbor aviation photograph of men working on a Ryan ST-A floatplane with two pilots in the seats. I think this was a training airplane for new pilots. The hills of San Diego are visible in the distance. Probably taken from or near North Island. This aircraft has S11 on tail and on the nosecone.
Photo appears to be a vintage enlargement from a smaller negative. This photo measures just under 8 inches across. Has four glue spots on the back from being glued onto a photo album sheet for several decades…
