Vintage Photograph 1944 Burma Bhamo Battle of Bhamo China vs Japan Army Lot of 24 Photos

Largely forgotten Battle by the Nationalist Chinese Army vs. Japanese Army where Chinese 38th Division troops, supported by US logistics, besieged and captured the Japanese-held fortress town in Bhamo, Burma. 

Photos show bombed out buildings, destroyed infrastructure, barracks, Japanese destroyed tanks and trucks, and dead Japanese soldiers.

Photos here were taken by a US Army Officer just after hostilities ended.
