Vintage Waldershof Bavaria 22K Gold Lusterware Teacup & Saucer

A striking example of mid-century German porcelain, this set features a brilliant yellow iridescent luster finish and hand-painted purple floral accents. The rims, foot, and handle are finished in heavy 22 Karat Gold. The base bears the authentic Waldershof "N" mark and "Handarbeit" (Hand-worked) designation.

I provide detailed descriptions so you can buy with confidence. This set is in good vintage display condition with the following notes:

Saucer: There is a chip on the underside of the rim (see photo #6). This is completely hidden when the saucer is sitting flat.

Factory Blemish: There is a small notch on the outer rim of the saucer that is entirely under the glaze. This occurred during the firing process at the factory and is not post-production damage.

Teacup: Minor gold gilt wear on the high point of the handle from handling.

General: No cracks or crazing. The luster finish is bright and vibrant.
