This Palatia pattern was manufactured for 21 years by the Wedgwood China company, based in England.

The discontinued Palatia pattern has a design that brings to mind the days of Greek empire with its Greek key pattern also known as a Greek fret as its border.

This design has been found by archaeologist on pottery found in ancient Greece so Wedgwood Palatia is not the first pattern to feature this unique design as pottery makers thousands of years ago also featured it on their items.
