Cream cloth over boards, gilt titles to upper board and spine. 702 pp. Deckled fore-edges. Extensively illustrated throughout with photographs and reproductions. Signed on the limitation leaf by all three authors. Original pictorial dust jacket, in a mylar Brodart protector.

Condition: Book very good — clean, tight, binding secure and square. Shelf wear to lower edge of text block and one previous owner's ink name to the front free endpaper. Jacket fair — Unclipped; a substantial chip missing from the bottom edge of the rear panel affecting text, and a large edge tear running through the title on the front panel, among many smaller chips/edge tears. The jacket has not been removed from its mylar protector for inspection.

Significance: The standard history of northeastern Nevada: Elko, Eureka, and White Pine country — and a cornerstone reference for the region, still cited by later scholarship. Increasingly difficult to find in the original jacket.
